Sustainable Travel Practices and Web Changes

PARIS, November 18, 2018

The LupoToro Group is dedicated to environmental stewardship, and is proud to announce its pledge to implement sustainable travel practices for all employees. This commitment underscores LupoToro Group's ongoing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and promote environmental sustainability across its operations.

Recognizing the significant environmental impact of business travel, LupoToro Group is taking proactive steps to minimize its carbon emissions associated with employee travel. As part of this initiative, the company will prioritize sustainable modes of transportation and reduce the use of business charter flights, opting instead for more eco-friendly alternatives such as train travel, carpooling, and virtual meetings wherever possible.

In addition to reducing the use of business charter flights, LupoToro Group is implementing a range of measures to minimise its environmental impact:

  1. Encouraging Telecommuting: LupoToro Group will promote remote work options and encourage employees to utilise telecommuting technologies to minimise the need for travel, including the provision of additional technology platforms for colleagues, where necessary.

  2. Reducing Carbon Emissions: For essential travel that cannot be avoided, LupoToro Group will aim to consolidate workflows and coordinate nearby requirements, reducing environmental impact by grouping travel wherever possible.

  3. Partner Education and Awareness: LupoToro Group will provide training and resources via hosted meetings to employees to raise awareness about the environmental impact of travel and encourage the adoption of sustainable travel practices.

  4. Collaboration with Sustainable Partners: LupoToro Group will seek out partnerships with transportation providers and accommodation facilities that prioritize sustainability and eco-friendly practices.

By prioritising sustainable travel practices, LupoToro Group aims to lead by example and inspire other companies to adopt similar initiatives. The company remains committed to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting environmental sustainability in all aspects of its operations.

New Web Changes and Domain:

In regards to website, and in line with updates to our website policies, LupoToro has transitioned its official website to a new platform, including a simplified new domain (now lupotoro.com) and updated server-side development tools.

The new website domain and hosting infrastructure provide LupoToro with enhanced flexibility through modular, plug-and-play capabilities for web design and future service enhancements. This includes the potential integration of front-end client login functionality, dynamically supported within the new platform. Collectively, these features enable scalable expansion with minimised needs for more extensive back-end development.

The company’s existing insights and publications have been successfully migrated to the new hosting environment, and remain chronologically available, alongside the introduction of improved functionality (i.e. search functions within our Insights page), more integrated page structures, refined design, and professionally sourced visual content (LupoToro continues to engage specialist third-party providers for design and graphic services, ensuring license-free high-quality media assets). Client-facing components can also be dynamically hosted within the platform, further supporting future expansion of web-based services in a cost-efficient manner.

By maintaining an externally hosted public-facing website, LupoToro reduces operational overhead while enabling greater focus on the development and scaling of its segregated back-end systems (SBS), including the internal intranet, data room, and database access points, all maintained under strict security protocols. The separation of public-facing infrastructure from internal systems ensures a secure, efficient, and streamlined digital environment, while allowing ongoing modernisation to be managed by a trusted specialist hosting provider.
